I've been in a funk. I can't seem to find my motivation, or get control of my schedule and the things I need to get done.
Sometimes, a lot of times, I feel more like a single mom than the single moms I know. My husband is a great provider for our family but in this season, that means he is gone for long periods (2-3 weeks), gone often (only "local" for one week between travel), and gone farther than he used to be.
This means I am now expected fulfill all parenting & household roles solo. With 5 kids, 4 pets, 2 gardens, and my own business to run I am exhausted, drained, sometimes begging for the end of the day.
Time to snap out of it. I started exercising this morning & hope to keep it up. I'm setting up a new daily schedule for our house this week, and hoping that it helps with time-management & that listing out the tasks keeps us from skipping out on the harder ones or forgetting something important.
So I was looking for something biblical to lean on. A verse that I could hang up in my house, in my car, anywhere I can think of for a near-constant reminder. I think this encompasses all of what I want to live out...and deserves to be typed again.
"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench The Spirit." - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-19
