Neurosurgery win :)

Summer was full of pain from the Trigeminal Neuralgia. 

This past week has been really rough. 

Yesterday I was able to sneak in to the neurosurgeon office a few weeks earlier than I had been scheduled for.

The short story is we are moving forward with surgical options.

My TN isn't quite typical TN, and the doctor thinks we need to attack it from more of the Multiple Sclerosis side of things.  So we will focus on getting that to be concentrated on (but can't get back into neurology until Oct 28) and we will start with radiosurgery on the right trigeminal nerve. 

Consult for radiosurgery is Oct 1. It sounds as though surgery schedule will be the following week. 

I'm hopeful that this will provide some relief on that side and that we can then do the left side too!
